Shanghai Songjiang Shock Absorber Group Co., Ltd., on its official website, introduces the contract for din rubber expansion joints in the Jiande West zhejiang Data Center Project. The Songjiang Group has provided rubber joints for numerous data centers, offering solutions for vibration reduction and noise reduction in pump room systems.
The West zhejiang Data Center is a joint project between the municipal government and China Telecom Hangzhou Branch. It is located in the Yangxi Science and Industry Park along the river mouth area. The center covers an area of 30 acres and plans to build a 22,000 square meters data center, which will deploy the next-generation internet data center, cloud computing center, and disaster recovery backup center. The infrastructure investment is approximately 500 million yuan.
The project is situated in the Yangxi Industrial Park in Jiande City, with a total planned land area of 23,288 square meters. The construction includes a total building area of 32,774 square meters, which comprises a 26,470 square meters data center, a 3,235 square meters power center, and a 3,069 square meters auxiliary building. The project is divided into three phases. The first phase includes the 2# data center and a power center with a total building area of 13,470 square meters. The second phase consists of three auxiliary buildings and the 1# data center with a total building area of 13,304 square meters. The third phase involves the 3# data center, covering an area of 6,000 square meters. The total estimated investment for the project is temporarily 140.325 million yuan, with 124.0776 million yuan invested in the first and second phases and 16.2474 million yuan in the third phase.
The project’s construction scope includes the Jiande West zhejiang Data Center Project and other supporting construction works such as roads and landscaping. It is suggested to adopt the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) mode, where the government authorizes qualified private capital to establish a project company for investment, construction, and operation. At the end of the operation period, the project will be transferred to a designated institution of the Jiande Municipal Government. After completion, the operation and maintenance of facilities related to data center equipment will be entrusted to government-approved institutions, while the operation and maintenance of the advertising space specified by the institution will be the responsibility of the project company. The specific responsibilities for project operation will be determined in the PPP cooperation agreement.
